WASHINGTON – Georgetown University football team captured seven All-Patriot League selections as announced by the league office on Tuesday. Joshua Tomas, Ahmad Wilson and Conor Hunt secured First Team honors while Zach Jewell, Talati Polamalu, Ibrahim Kamara and Owen Kessler earned Second Team nods. The all-conference teams were voted on by the league's seven head coaches.
 
AHMAD WILSON - DB

• The defensive back captured his fourth Patriot League selection and second-straight First Team nod.
• Wilson racked up 71 tackles, 42 of which were on his own.
• He also registered two tackles for loss, an interception, a pair of breakups and hit the quarterback on two occasions.

 
CONOR HUNT - P

• The Hoya punter secured his first All-Patriot League honor with a spot on the First Team as the punter.
• Hunt launched 51 balls down the field for 2,127 yards for an average of 41.7 yards per punt.
• He also dropped 19 balls inside the 20 and booted 10 for at least 50 yards.

 
JOSHUA TOMAS - WR

• The wideout earned his first career postseason accolade with a selection to the All-Patriot League First Team.
• Tomas racked up 1,096 all-purpose yards with 767 receiving yards on 58 receptions.
• He also reeled in four touchdowns in his 10 games played.
   

OWEN KESSLER - LB

• Kessler captured a Second Team accolade, the second of his career with his first coming following the 2018 campaign.
• He registered 25 tackles, 19 on his own, 5.5 for a loss of 24 yards and two sacks for a loss of 13 yards.

 
ZACH JEWELL – HB/FB

• Jewell earned his first career selection to the league's Second Team.
• He was a key contributor in blocking through 10 appearances this season.

 
IBRAHIM KAMARA - DL

• Kamara picked up his first Second Team selection after a stellar 2021 season.
• He racked up 33 tackles, 19 on his own, while securing 4.5 tackles for loss and a pair of sacks for a combined six yards.

 
TALATI POLAMALU - OL

• Polamalu received a Second Team nod for the first time in his career.
• He started in nine of the team's 10 contests, providing blocking on the Hoya offensive line.
