Hoyas Conclude Road Swing at GW Tuesday

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team wraps up a stretch of 15-straight road games as the Hoyas play their final nonconference game of the season at George Washington on Tuesday afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Barcroft Park in Arlington, Virginia.

LAST TIME OUT
  • The Hoyas played a five-game series at Xavier over the weekend, falling in doubleheaders on Friday and Sunday but coming away with a 5-1 victory on Saturday. The final game of the series did not count toward the BIG EAST standings.
  • Carter Bosch fired 5.0 shutout innings with eight strikeouts in the win on Saturday, while Eddie McCabe launched his first home run of the season.
  • In the series finale on Sunday, Jack Weeks also threw 5.0 innings of shutout baseball with five strikeouts.
