Men’s Rowing Releases 2022 Fall Schedule

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown men's rowing team announced its fall schedule on Tuesday afternoon. The schedule consists of five away contests with one race in the District.
 
The Hoyas started off competition this past weekend where they competed in the Head of the Potomac. Men's open four finished with a time of 15:03.4 and men's open eights finished one-two-three with times of 12:51.9, 13:01.4 and 13:13.6.
 
The Blue & Gray competes next at George Mason's Occoquan Chase on Sunday, October 16 in Fairfax Station, Virginia. The following Sunday on October 23, GU heads to Boston, Massachusetts for the Head of the Charles regatta. To close out October, Georgetown will race in the Head of the Schuylkill regatta on October 30 in Philadelphia. 
 
The Hoyas are sending boats to two regattas on the same weekend in November with the Head of the Occoquan being held on November 5 and the Princeton 3-Mile on November 6. The Head of the Occoquan regatta is being held in Fairfax Station and hosted by the Occoquan Boat Club while the Princeton 3-Mile is being held in Princeton, New Jersey.
