Box Score MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica – The Georgetown University men's basketball team fell 84-66 on Friday to Loyola Marymount in the Jamaica Classic. The Hoyas struggled to contain a second-half surge from LMU at the Montego Bay Convention Centre as the Hoyas slip to 2-2 on the season and the Lions improve to 3-2.
ON THE RECORD
"We did a good job in the first half of guarding them at the 3-point line … but in the second half, they were able to make a significant amount more. So, one, we didn't get back in transition to match up with them - they were 3-for-17 in the first half and then they ended up 12-for-35. They hurt us in transition when we got back and weren't matched up and then, you know, we didn't do a good job of getting out to them at the 3-point line." Head Coach
Patrick Ewing on the 3-point defense
