EAST MEADOW, N.Y. – The Georgetown University's men's and women's swimming & diving teams medaled in four events, including a gold in the 800-yard free on day one of the BIG EAST Championships in East Meadow, New York on Wednesday evening.
"This is two years in the making and you saw a lot of passion and emotion tonight. The kids swam great, dropping a lot of time from their season-best and lifetime-best times. The guy's relay to come from behind and win the way they did was incredible. We are really pumped at where we are at right now and we're really excited about tomorrow morning." – Head Coach
Jack Leavitt
