Jake Hyde became the first Hoya to secure back-to-back BIG EAST Player of the Week honors since 2011 after hitting a combined .571 against William & Mary, No. 24 Maryland and Cornell while graduate student
Nolan McCarthy earned a spot on the weekly honor roll for the second-consecutive week, as announced by the league on Monday.

- Hyde earned his second career player of the week award and the team's third major weekly accolade with his performance.
- He is the first Hoya since Rand Ravnaas in 2011 (03/07 and 03/14) to capture consecutive BIG EAST Player of the Week awards.
- Hyde was crucial once again in the team's 2-1 week, going 8-for-14 and slashing .571/.600/1.214. He added three doubles, two home runs, six runs scored and three RBIs to his final line.
- Against William & Mary, Hyde registered a 3-for-5 performance with a pair of two-baggers and two runs scored.
- In the weekend opener against No. 24 Maryland, the Hoya outfielder put together another 3-for-5 showing, falling a triple shy of the cycle while scoring twice.
- He rounded out the weekend with a 2-for-4 outing and another pair of runs scored against Cornell.
- The sophomore is currently riding a 14-game hitting streak and has registered at least two hits in each of his last eight contests.
- Hyde became the first player in the BIG EAST to win consecutive player of the week awards since UConn's Kyler Fedko last season (03/15 and 03/22).

- McCarthy once again put forth a solid outing, allowing just one unearned run on three hits to go along with 10 strikeouts in seven innings of work.
- He finished the day retiring 13 of the last 14 batters he faced while recording his second-straight start with at least 10 strikeouts.
- The Hoya righty earned his second-consecutive and the team's fourth honor roll selection of the year (Andrew Ciufo and Angelo Tonas).
- It also marks McCarthy's third conference accolade of the season after earning BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week (02/28) following a dominant performance against Norfolk State.
