WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's golf team finished tied for eighth at the Princeton Invitational with a 54-hole score of +22 874. The two-day, three-round tournament was played at the par-71 6,456 yard Springdale Golf Club.

Hoya Results

• Senior captain Brad Whitaker was GU's top scorer as he tied for 27th with scores of 71, 72 and 74.

• Senior captain Will O'Neill finished tied for 31st with scores of 72, 73 and 73.

• Freshman Charlie Creamean also tied for 31st with scores of 74, 74 and 70.

• Freshman Jacob Finard tied for 46th with scores of 73, 73 and 76.

• Junior Pieter DeGroot finished tied for 69th with scores of 78, 73 and 80. 

Tournament Leaders

• Princeton won the tournament (-7, 845), the Princeton B team finished second (-6, 846) and Seton Hall (E, 852) to round out the top three. 

• The Hoyas tied with Rider University and finished ahead of Howard (+29,881)
