How It Happened

  • Georgetown put itself on the board in the third when Gabby Nemarich reached first off an error by Seton Hall in which Lorena vasquez-Inzunza was able to cross home (5-1).

  • SHU was able to get an additional six runs in the fourth from a double for two RBIs and a grand slam to make the score 11-1.

  • Despite the Hoyas' efforts in the fifth, they were unable to cut the deficit and Seton Hall held on for the 11-1 (5) victory.
