WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's golf team finished in eighth place at the Rutherford Intercollegiate with a 54-hole score of +35, 887. The two-day, three-round tournament was played at the par-71 7,171-yard Penn State Blue Course.

Freshman Jacob Finard was GU's top scorer as he finished tied for 18th with scores of 75, 69 and 76.

Senior Brad Whitaker finished tied for 35th place with scores of 73, 74 and 76.

Freshman Charlie Creamean also tied for 35th with scores of 74, 75 and 74.

Senior Will O'Neill tied for 56th with scores of 72, 73 and 82.

Junior David Rogers tied for 73rd with scores of 82, 75 and 76.
Tournament Leaders

Penn State won the tournament (+12, 864), Michigan State finished second (+14, 866) and St. Mary's placed third (+17, 869) to round out the top three.

The Hoyas finished one shot behind Dayton (+34, 886) and seven shots ahead of George Mason (+42, 894).
