Andrew Ciufo have earned national recognition for their outstanding contributions on the field through the first half of the 2022 campaign.
Hyde earned a spot on the Bobby Bragan Collegiate Slugger Award (BBCSA) Midseason List by SR Bats following his hot offensive start. Ciufo landed on the 2022 Brooks Wallace Award Watch List that highlights the top collegiate shortstop by the College Baseball Foundation through Major League Baseball.

- The Hoya right fielder leads the BIG EAST with 47 tallies while registering a second-best with 55 hits, 13 doubles and 38 RBIs. The Connecticut native is also slashing .355/.451/.723 on the season through 37 games.
- Hyde has also smacked 14 home runs this season, all of which have come out of the leadoff spot. His homer total ranks second in the conference and tied for second in program history, trailing just Glen Bruckner with 15 in 1987.
- The Connecticut native also captured three BIG EAST Player of the Week honors (3/7, 3/14, 3/28) and a pair of National Player of the Week selections by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper (3/7, 3/28).
- Hyde is one of 14 players added to the midseason list and is the only BIG EAST player in the field of 58.

- Ciufo is batting .302 on the season with 39 hits, seven home runs and 27 runs scored through 33 starts.
- The New York native has registered 43 putouts and 94 assists while helping turn 12 double plays this year.
- The junior is one of two BIG EAST shortstops out of the group of 100 to be named to the Brooks Wallace Award Watch List (Jack Housinger - Xavier).
