WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team will look to bounce back with its first meeting in Washington D.C. against District rival George Washington on Tuesday, April 26 at Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m.
United States Representative of the District of Columbia Oye Owolewa will be in attendance and will throw out a ceremonial first pitch prior to the game.

- The Hoyas dropped their BIG EAST series to Xavier over the weekend, despite winning Saturday's contest behind an 11-strikeout performance from Carter Bosch. The Hoya starter earned a BIG EAST Honor Roll selection with his outing and is three punchouts away (156) from cracking the program's top-10 for career strikeouts.
- Ubaldo Lopez broke the program's single-season record with his 16th homer of the season on Sunday, surpassing teammate Jake Hyde (2022) and Glen Bruckner (1987) with 15. Lopez paces the conference with his homer total while ranking second with 41 RBIs and a .710 slugging percentage.
- Hyde leads the conference with 50 tallies while registering a second-best with 59 hits.
- Georgetown paces the BIG EAST with 73 home runs (T-8th in NCAA) while ranking second in runs (293) and scoring (7.3 per game).
- Andrew Williams will take the mound for the Hoyas, looking to pick up his first win since knocking off Mount St. Mary's in his seven innings of one-hit ball.
