WASHINGTON – Georgetown University had three players earn BIG EAST Men's Lacrosse Weekly honors, as announced by the league office on Monday following the final weekend of games.
Will Bowen and
Dylan Watson were named the BIG EAST Defensive and Attack Player of the Week, respectively, while
Graham Bundy Jr. earned a spot on the Weekly Honor Roll.
The Hoyas closed out the 2022 regular season with a 13-7 victory at Villanova on Friday, clinching the program's first outright BIG EAST Regular Season Championship and the top seed in the upcoming BIG EAST Championship, Presented by JEEP. Georgetown also tied the program record with its 13th win of the season.

Hingham, Mass.
- Had five caused turnovers and a pair of ground balls in the win.
- Bowen's five caused turnovers are the most in a game for the Hoyas since 2019.
- Georgetown's man-down defense held Villanova to just one goal on six attempts.
- The Hoyas held Villanova scoreless for spans of 10:03, 15:38 and 15:14 and to lone goals in the second and third quarters.
- Bowen now has 32 caused turnovers on the year, fourth most in a single season in program history.
- This is Bowen's fifth BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week honor this season.
Dylan Watson
Senior | Attack
Guelph, Ontario
- Led all players with five goals and added an assist for six points.
- Scored the game-winning goal on a man-up situation.
- Watson now has 55 goals on the year, third most in a single season at Georgetown and just six off the record of 61 set by Dan Bucaro in 2019.
- Continues to lead the nation in goals per game with 3.92.
- This is Watson's third BIG EAST Attack Player of the Week honor this season.
Graham Bundy Jr.
Junior | Midfield
St. Louis, Mo.
- Tied Watson for the game-lead with six points on two goals and a game-high four assists.
- Dished out the assist on Watson's game-winning goal.
- With 57 points on the year, Bundy has the 15th most points in a season on the Hilltop and the third most by a midfielder.
