WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University football team's linebacker Justin Fonteneaux has been named to the 2022 FCS ADA Academic All-Star Team. The graduate student is one of five Patriot League athletes named to the 53-man team.
 
Each All-Star member was required to meet the minimum grade point average of 3.20 in addition to contributing as a starter or key player with legitimate athletics credentials in at least 50 percent of games. Each athlete is only eligible after they have completed one full academic year at the institution they are nominated with. 
 
Justin Fonteneaux- Linebacker 

• The Linebacker led the Hoyas with 90 tackles, 58 of which were on his own, as well as 27 assists in the 2022 campaign.
• The Houston native also added three sacks and two pass break ups.
• Fonteneaux earned a pair of Patriot League Honorable Mentions this season. 
• The graduate student was named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team.
