Swimming & Diving to Face Seton Hall on Saturday

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's and women's swimming & diving teams will travel to South Orange, New Jersey to take on BIG EAST foe Seton Hall on Saturday. 

About the Hoyas
  • Last weekend, the Hoyas swept their dual meet with Johns Hopkins before falling to George Washington the following day. 
  • Against the Blue Jays the women earned 11 first place finishes while the men collected nine. 
  • Charlie Reichle swept the men's diving competition against George Washington with first place finishes in the 3m dive (302.18) and 1m dive (280.95).
  • Angelica Reali had a successful day against the Blue Jays with wins in both the 100 and 200 fly as well as the 200 backstroke. 
  • Michael Baldini captured two wins against the Colonials in the 50 and 100 free. 


About the Pirates
  • The Hoyas last faced the Pirates to close out the 2021-22 season in a sweep at McCarthy Pool. 
  • The Pirates men's and women's teams are coming off a loss to Delaware last week. 
  • Seton Hall's Michael Klimaszewski was named BIG EAST Swimming & Diving Male Athlete of the Week. The freshman owns four of the five fastest times in the 100 fly in the conference.
