WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's swimming & diving team captured a win against Howard at the Battle of the Burr for the second year in a row. The men's team finished in first place with a score of 125-99 while the women posted a score of 127-97 to capture the victory. The men's and women's team both recorded seven first-place victories.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- In the 1000 free, Kira Ange and Ashley Vensel finished first and second with times of 10:31.90 and 10:48.73, respectively.
- Genevieve Yougman finished first in the 100 butterfly with a time of 56.57 while Angelica Reali came in second with a time of 56.69.
- Madeline Malone (51.90) and Isabella Wylie (53.39) took first and second in the 100 free.
- In the 100 backstroke, Maddie Haley captured the win with a time of 58.47.
- Erin Hood (5:07.54) earned first place in the 500 free while Sophia Ribeiro (5:15.50) finished second.
- Hood captured her second win of the afternoon in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:05.35.
