WASHINGTON – After an overtime victory 50-47 over Bucknell on the road, the Hoyas collected three Patriot League weekly honors, as announced by the league on Monday.
Naiteitei Mose was named the Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week while
Jimmy Kibble and
David Ealey III earned honorable mentions.
Naiteitei Mose | LB | So. | Euless, Texas - Special Teams Player of the Week
- This was the sophomore's first career weekly award.
- In the beginning of the third quarter, Mose scooped up an attempted onside kickoff by Bucknell and returned it for a 46-yard touchdown to extend the Hoyas lead 30-15.
Jimmy Kibble | WR | So. | Leesburg, Va. - Honorable Mention
- This was the sophomore's first career weekly award.
- Kibble led the Hoya receivers with eight catches for 179 yard (92 YAC) and two touchdowns.
- The sophomore's second touchdown was for a career longest of 95 yards.
- With his second touchdown, Kibble tied the game 44-44 and forced overtime where the Hoyas captured the win 50-47.
David Ealey III | LB | Sr. | Miami, Fla. - Honorable Mention
- Ealey led the Blue & Gray with 10 tackles (5 solo, 5 assists).
- The Miami native made one interception in the first quarter that led to the Hoyas second touchdown of the afternoon.
- The linebacker also forced a fumble that GU recovered and converted into the Hoyas fifth touchdown.
- Ealey also recorded 1.5 tackles for loss and one sack.

The Hoyas will close out the 2023 season on the road against Holy Cross on Saturday, November 18. Kickoff is scheduled for noon.
