WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's
Tucker Dordevic earned a spot on the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association National Team of the Week for the second time this year, as announced by the organization on Tuesday. Dordevic led the Hoyas to a thrilling 15-14 overtime victory at Marquette over the weekend.
Dordevic scored five goals, including the game winner in overtime, to help keep the Hoyas undefeated in BIG EAST play and clinch a berth in the upcoming BIG EAST Championship, Presented by JEEP. He added a pair of ground balls as well.
Dordevic was also named the BIG EAST Attack Player of the Week for his efforts on Monday, the fourth time he has garnered the accolade this season. He also added another five goals in Georgetown's 23-7 win at Loyola on Tuesday for his fourth game with at least five goals this season.
Next up for Georgetown, the No. 8/9 Hoyas return to BIG EAST play against St. John's in the season's regular season road finale on Saturday, April 22 at 1 p.m.
