WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University track & field team had 22 All-BIG EAST selections following the 2023 BIG EAST Outdoor Track & Field Championships, presented by JEEP, as announced by the league office on Tuesday. The Hoyas saw 22 honors (13 women; 9 men) from 18 athletes (12 women, 6 men) across 12 (6 women; 6 men) different events. A total of four Hoyas picked up All-BIG EAST honors in multiple events with
Melissa Riggins (800m; 4x800m),
Joshua Paige (100m, 200m),
Matthew Payamps (1,500m; 4x800m) and
Parker Stokes (3,000m steeplechase; 4x800m) all achieving the feat.
UP NEXT
The Hoyas will be off until May 24-27 when the squads travel to Jacksonville, Florida for the 2023 NCAA Track & Field East Preliminary Championships.
