WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's lacrosse team held its 2024 Team Awards at the annual banquet on Saturday. Honors for the six-time reigning BIG EAST Champions included
Graham Bundy Jr. with the William Corcoran Memorial Trophy as the Team MVP,
Aidan Carroll as the Gewirz Award to Outstanding Offensive Player,
Dylan Hess as the Gewirz Award to Outstanding Defensive Player,
Seamus Foley as the Jason "Prof" Decker Unsung Hero,
Chase Llewellyn as Most Improved Player and Torin Shanahan with the Leo H. McCormick Service Award.

Graham Bundy Jr. | Midfield
St. Louis, Mo.
Bundy wrapped up his career at Georgetown as one of the most prolific and most decorated players on the Hilltop. Starting all 17 games for the BIG EAST Champion Hoyas, the captain was a First Team All-America selection by both the USILA and USA Lacrosse Magazine as well as a First Team All-BIG EAST performer and a Tewaaraton Award Nominee. Selected in the second round, 11th overall by the Denver Outlaws in the Premier Lacrosse League College Draft, Bundy scored 37 goals to go with 13 assists for 50 points on the year. He wrapped up his illustrious career with the Blue & Gray ranked fourth all-time in career points (225), second in career goals (158) and tied for 11th in career assists (67).
Gewirz Award to Outstanding Offensive Player
Aidan Carroll | Attack
Milton, Mass.
Carroll had a breakout senior season with the Hoyas in 2024, earning USILA and USA Lacrosse Magazine Honorable Mention All-America honors. He was a First Team All-BIG EAST performer and was named the BIG EAST Tournament Most Outstanding Player en route to Georgetown's sixth-straight league crown. Carroll posted 37 goals with 23 assists for 60 points, tying him for 15th most points in a single season on the Hilltop. He scored game-winning goals in overtime against both top-ranked Notre Dame in the regular season as well as Providence in the BIG EAST Tournament Semifinals. Off the field, the captain was tabbed a USILA Scholar All-American and named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District.
Gewirz Award to Outstanding Defensive Player
Dylan Hess | SSDM
Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
One of the top defensive midfielders in college lacrosse the past four years, Hess wrapped up his career on the Hilltop by being named a USILA First Team All-American, USA Lacrosse Magazine Second Team All-American and Inside Lacrosse Third Team Media All-American as well as a First Team All-BIG EAST honoree. Drafted in the fourth round, 28th overall by the Carolina Chaos in the Premier Lacrosse League College Draft, Hess played in all 17 games with a rope unit that helped Georgetown's defense hold 14 of its 17 opponents to 10 goals or fewer on the year. He was credited with 17 caused turnovers and collected 29 ground balls on the year. Stellar on the field as well as off, Hess was also named a USILA Scholar All-American.
Jason "Prof" Decker Unsung Hero Award
Seamus Foley | Defense
Edina, Minn.
A year after helping anchor Georgetown's man-down defense in 2023, Foley was thrust into a starting role at close defense in the second game of the 2024 campaign and excelled immediately for the Hoyas. Playing in all 17 games, and starting the final 16, he collected 21 ground balls and was credited with 16 caused turnovers on the year. Foley was twice named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll in back-to-back weeks for his efforts in league wins over Providence and Marquette, while also shining in the NCAA postseason for the Blue & Gray. He had three ground balls in Georgetown's NCAA First Round victory over No. 9 Penn State and was credited with three caused turnovers in the NCAA Quarterfinals matchup against top-ranked Notre Dame.
Most Improved Player
Chase Llewellyn | Midfield
Cockeysville, Md.
Playing in only seven games during his first three seasons on the Hilltop because of injuries, Llewellyn showed his full potential while finally healthy during his senior campaign. He played in all 17 games in 2024 on Georgetown's second midfield line, helping to add depth and scoring prowess to the Hoyas offense. Llewellyn scored 13 goals to go with a pair of assists for 15 points and added 12 ground balls on the year. He had four multi-goal games, including two in Georgetown's overtime win at top-ranked Notre Dame in the regular season. Off the field, Llewellyn was also named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District.
