WASHINGTON – Three Georgetown University men's lacrosse players earned BIG EAST Weekly awards, as announced by the league office.
Anderson Moore was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week and
Natty Mason was tabbed the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week while
Kevin Miller earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll following the Hoyas defeating No. 13 Denver 17-5 in the league opener over the weekend.

BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Moore collected 10 saves in Georgetown's win at Denver. He allowed just four goals in 54:44 and had a .714 save percentage. Georgetown's defense held Denver scoreless for a total of 27:25 spanning the second through fourth quarters and Moore's last goal allowed came at the 8:38 mark in the second quarter.

BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Mason scored two goals, including the game-winner, on just three shots in Georgetown's victory over the Pioneers. He has scored two goals in back-to-back games this season. Mason is the 12th player on Georgetown's active roster to have earned BIG EAST Freshman of the Week honors at some point during their rookie season and the third different Hoya to do so this season.
