WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's and women's cross country programs will head up north to Princeton, New Jersey to compete in the Princeton Fall Classic on Friday, October 18. There will be 24 total runners competing, including 13 from the women's team and 11 from the men's team. The women will compete against a 23-team field that features six other ranked opponents while the men's team will compete against a 22-team field that features four other ranked opponents.

· The event will begin with the women's 6k race at 10:30 a.m., the men will follow shortly after for the 8k race at 11:15 a.m.
About the No. 9 Georgetown Women
· In the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) most recent national poll, the Georgetown women were ranked No. 9 nationally and No. 1 in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
· In their last outing at the Nuttycombe Invitational, the Hoyas finished third in a loaded 25-team field, consisting of 15 ranked opponents. The Hoyas tallied 145 points.
· The five-time All-American
Melissa Riggins led the way for the Hoyas, finishing seventh of 197 runners. The Hoyas also had four runners (
