WASHINGTON – Graduate student Lawson Renie was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon. Renie played a pivotal role in the Hoyas recording their 12th shutout of the season against Villanova.

• Renie played all 90 minutes in Georgetown's 3-0 victory over Villanova as the Hoyas cruised to their 12th shutout of the season.
• The Cincinnati native has been instrumental in GU's defensive efforts this season playing every minute across all contests. With Renie helping to anchor the back line, GU is tied for sixth nationally in shutouts with 12.
• This is Renie's second honor of the season as she was named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week on August 26.
