WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's soccer team had six players earn conference accolades at the conclusion of the regular season. Senior Maja Lardner was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year while junior Cara Martin was tabbed as the BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Year. Head Coach Dave Nolan and his staff were also honored as the BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year for the fifth time dating back to 2007.
 
Lardner, Martin, Natalie Means, Eliza Turner and Lawson Renie all earned First Team honors as GU led the way with the most first team selections (5). This is the third-consecutive season that Turner was named to the First Team. Freshman Lizzie Heller earned a spot on the All-BIG EAST Third Team after a remarkable first season on the Hilltop.
 
The Hoyas are currently 12-2-4 overall and finished the BIG EAST season 8-1-1 once again earning the regular season crown. As they head into the semifinal of the BIG EAST Championship on Thursday, November 7, facing the fifth-seeded UConn Huskies at 7:30 p.m. in Boyds, Maryland.
