WASHINGTON- After a successful four-day swing in Indianapolis at the BIG EAST Championships, presented by Jeep, 25 Hoyas earned All-BIG EAST team honors for their accomplishments, as announced by the league office on Friday. GU's men's team led the conference with 14 honorees while the women earned 11.
The 25 Hoyas rounded out a group of 95 conference athletes to place top three in any individual or relay event at the championship. Forty-eight women and 47 men complete the list of honorees. A total of 52 student-athletes (26 women, 26 men) earned all-conference for multiple events. The Hoyas earned the most combined honors with 25 total.
Erin Hood garnered the most All-BIG EAST accolades with six.
