WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's golf team is in Pawley's Island, South Carolina for the 2024 Golfweek Program Challenge, held April 1-3. The tournament is scheduled for three rounds over three days, all played on the par-71, 5,990-yard course at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club. The field features 19 teams with Georgetown being the lone BIG EAST Conference representative.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
- The Hoyas are coming off a 14th-place showing at the 17-team field at the Briar's Creek Invitational. with a three-round score of 32-over 896 (293-302-301).
- Morgan Smith was the top Hoya finisher with a 6-over 222 (73-74-75). Her final 18 holes featured a pair of birdies and 12 pars as the freshman tied for 34th overall.
- Claire Chen moved up the ranks and tied for 39th at 7-over 223 (72-81-70). Her last 18 was a 2-under 70 that saw the freshman record a trio of birdies to go along with 14 pars.
- Megan Gormley finished in a tie for 45th with a three-round score of 9-over 224 (73-75-77). The senior had a pair of birdies and nine pars was not enough to prevent her from dropping a couple of spots in the final individual standings.
- Georgia Ruffolo carded a 10-over 225 (75-72-79) to tie for 50th in the three-round event. Ruffolo started the final day with a birdie and would tally another on the day to go along with nine pars.
- Juliette Riot closed the event at 33-over 249 (85-82-82). Her final round closed on a pair of birdies over five holes and she tallied seven total pars to place 103rd in the event.
