WASHINGTON – For the third-straight year, captain
Georgia Ruffolo was named to the All-BIG EAST Team following the season. She is one of seven student-athletes across seven league schools to pick up the recognition.

ALL-BIG EAST TEAM
- Georgia Ruffolo finished the season with a 74.81 stroke average in 27 rounds of stroke play. The graduate student transfer played all 27 rounds of golf this season, competing in the top spot in the lineup in all but one event.
- Ruffolo turned in a pair of top-10 performances for the year, finishing in a tie for 10th at the Rutgers Invitational (16-over 229) before finishing fourth at the BIG EAST Championships (5-over 221).
- For the year, she has carded two rounds of golf under par and another two at even par. Her 2-under 70 was the best round of golf for any Hoya this season and it came in the second round of the BIG EAST Championships, fueled by the second hole-in-one of her Georgetown career.
- With two eagles, 52 birdies and 310 pars, she averaged .07 eagles, 1.93 birdies and 11.48 pars per round.
- The Tampa native finished fourth at the BIG EAST Championship, presented by Jeep, carding a 5-over 221 (73-70-78). Her 2-under 70 in the second round was the best round for a Hoya at this year's championship.
