WASHINGTON – The No. 3 seeded Georgetown women's lacrosse team (7-10, 4-2 BE) will travel to Cincinnati, Ohio take on No. 2 UConn (10-6, 5-1 BE) in the Semifinals of the BIG EAST Championship, presented by Jeep on Thursday, May 2. The first draw is set for 4 p.m. at Corcoran Field.
About the Hoyas
- The Blue & Gray are coming off of a 9-8 home loss to UConn in the last regular season game on Saturday.
- Gracie Driggs led the Hoyas in scoring this season with 38 goals followed by Emma Gebhardt with 30. Tatum Geist tallied 23 goals, Maley Starr recorded 22, Kylie Hazen netted 18 while Tessa Brooks rounded out the Hoyas in double digit scoring with 14.
- Hazen generated a lot of offense for GU with a team-best 21 assists followed by Starr with nine.

- The Huskies are coming off of a 9-8 road victory over the Hoyas last Saturday.
- Kate Shaffer scored with 2:51 left in the contest to give UConn the one goal lead to clinch the win over GU.
- Shaffer (40G, 21A) leads the UConn offense with 61 points followed by Rayea Davis (42G, 16A) with 58.
- At the circle, Madelyn George holds a team high of 101 draw controls.
