ABOUT THE HOYA WOMEN
  • On the women's side, All-American Chloe Scrimgeour is the only Hoya who will be pulling a double shift as she competes in both the 5,000m and 10,000m semifinals. She owns the fifth-fastest times in the east region in both events. In the 5,000m semis, the top five competitors from the first and second heat will advance to the finals in Eugene, Oregon as well as the next two fastest times.
  • Also joining Scrimgeour in the 10,000m semis will be All-American Maggie Donahue, who enters the event with the 26th-fastest time in the region. The top 12 from the east will advance to the finals at Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon.
  • All-American Melissa Riggins will be one of a pair of GU student-athletes competing in the women's 1,500m first round. Riggins will be joined by Chloe Gonalez with the duo entering the first round with the third- and 37th-fastest times, respectively, in the region. The top five from each heat as well as the next four times will advance to the quarterfinals.
  • Mary Hennelly, a newly-minted BIG EAST champion in the steeplechase, owns the 17th-fastest time in the east and will be joined by teammate Barrett Justema (43rd) in the 3,000m steeplechase quarterfinals.
