WASHINGTON – Georgetown University goalkeeper Ella Fahey was named to the BIG EAST Field Hockey Weekly Honor Roll, as announced by the league office on Tuesday. Fahey led the Hoyas to a 1-1 record on the week behind a strong defensive showing in the cage.
 
Opening the weekend with a 2-1 win at Lock Haven, Fahey allowed an early goal in the opening minute of the game and shut out the Bald Eagles for the final 59:03 of action. She collected three saves in the win.
 
Against Saint Francis (Pa.), Fahey was credited with six saves while allowing just one goal in a 1-0 setback to the Red Flash.
 
Georgetown returns to action on Friday at Towson.
