WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's basketball team, in conjunction with the BIG EAST Conference, announced its conference portion of the 2024-25 schedule, presented by MedStar Health. The Hoyas add the standard 20 league matchups to its 11-game nonconference schedule. GU will play a total of 31 regular season games during the 2024-25 season.

2024-25 BIG EAST CONFERENCE SCHEDULE PRESENTED BY MEDSTAR HEALTH
- The Hoyas will open the 2024-25 BIG EAST season in the District as the Blue & Gray will welcome the Creighton Bluejays to town on December 18 marking the first conference matchup of the season. GU will then head to Newark, New Jersey for a weekend matchup with Seton Hall on December 22.
- The Blue & Gray will ring in the new year on January 3, hosting the Xavier Musketeers, marking Georgetown's first game of 2025. GU will have a quick turnaround heading to Milwaukee for a midweek contest against Marquette on Tuesday, January 7. The Hoyas will then welcome back-to-back national champions UConn to the District on January 11, before once again hitting the road for a Tuesday matchup with St. John's (January 14) in the Big Apple.
- The District's team will return home on January 17, welcoming DePaul and newly appointed Head Coach Chris Holtmann to the nation's capital. This will be Head Coach Ed Cooley's eighth-career matchup with Holtmann. Cooley boasts a 5-2 all-time record against Holtmann dating back to 2015 when he served as the head coach of Butler.
- A two-game road trip will see GU travel to Villanova (January 20) and Providence (January 25) before closing out the month of January with a two-game homestand. Rick Pitino and the St. John's Red Storm will visit D.C. on Tuesday, January 28 before Georgetown closes out the month with a contest against Thad Matta and the Butler Bulldogs on Friday, January 31.
- The Blue & Gray will head to Cincinnati, Ohio on February 4 marking GU's second matchup with the Musketeers and the Hoyas' first contest of February. Georgetown will then return home to host Seton Hall on February 8.
- Georgetown will hit the road to square off with Butler on Saturday, February 15. GU will then return home for a midweek matchup with the Providence College Friars on Wednesday, February 19.
- Another two-game road trip will conclude the month of February as GU travels to both Omaha, Nebraska and Hartford, Connecticut to face Creighton (February 23) and UConn (February 26).
- The Blue & Gray will host Marquette and Villanova to open the month of March. Games will be played on Tuesday, March 1 against the Golden Eagles and Tuesday, March 4 hosting the Wildcats.
- The Hoyas will close out the 2024-25 conference slate on the road at DePaul on Saturday, March 8. GU will then prepare for the 2025 BIG EAST Tournament which is set to be hosted at Madison Square Garden. The BIG EAST Conference announced last season that the event will be hosted at MSG until at least 2032, marking 50-straight years of BIG EAST Basketball at the world's most famous arena.

- The crowd on Nov. 6 will be comprised almost entirely of Georgetown students. Students who purchase a student season ticket will receive priority access.

- All season ticket holders will have the opportunity for tickets to the Nov. 26 game at McDonough Arena.
