WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's soccer team had three student-athletes earn BIG EAST Weekly Awards on Monday. Maja Lardner was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, Claire Manning was named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week and Jocelyn Lohmeyer was named the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week.
 
 
Maja Lardner | Sr. | F | Dallas, Texas

• Lardner was sensational in a 1-0 week for GU. The senior scored two goals against Lafayette marking her second multi-goal game of the season.
• The senior spearheaded the Hoya offense in her five-point outing as she also chipped in an assist.  
• This is Lardner's second recognition of the season as last week she earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after scoring two goals against Sacred Heart.

 
Claire Manning | Sr. | D | Montclair, N.J.

• Manning anchored the Hoya defense on Sunday en route to GU's fourth-consecutive shutout of the season.
• The senior also played a pivotal role in the Hoya offense as Manning took four shots, three of which were on frame.
• The Montclair, New Jersey native chipped in two assists against the Leopards marking her first multi-point game of the season.

 
Jocelyn Lohmeyer | Fr. | F | Vienna, Va.

• Lohmeyer made her impact felt against Lafayette as the freshman scored her first collegiate goal in the first half.
• In the second 45 minutes of action, Lohmeyer was able to put another one past the Leopard goalkeeper marking the first multi-goal game of her Hoya career.
• This is the freshman's first time earning a BIG EAST Weekly Honor.
