Patrick Crogan also earned preseason All-BIG EAST recognition.
Georgetown topped the poll with 25 points and all five possible first place votes, followed by Denver with 20 points and the remaining first place vote. Coaches could not vote for their own team in the poll. Villanova came in third with 16 points with Providence right behind with 15 points. Marquette and St. John's rounded out the poll tied with seven points each.

Ball is the only faceoff specialist to garner Preseason All-BIG EAST recognition in 2025 and also collected USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Third Team honors this season as well. He was a USA Lacrosse Magazine Honorable Mention All-American last year in his first season with the Hoyas after winning 186-of-314 (.592) faceoffs to go with 96 ground balls and four points (2G, 2A). Ball was named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team as the Hoyas won their sixth-straight league tournament championship, tying an NCAA Division I record.

Banks is a unanimous selection for the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team after being named All-BIG EAST First Team during his rookie campaign on the Hilltop in 2024. He was both a USA Lacrosse Magazine and USILA Honorable Mention All-American last season and earned USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Second Team All-America honors this year. He led the Hoyas with 24 caused turnovers in 2024 and hauled in 33 ground balls as Georgetown's top cover defenseman. Banks helped the Blue & Gray to hold its opponents to 10 goals or fewer in 13 games and post a top-10 scoring defense at just 9.65 goals allowed per game.
Aidan Carroll

Carroll is also a unanimous selection for the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team following a breakout senior season with the Hoyas in 2024. He was a First Team All-BIG EAST performer and was named the BIG EAST Tournament Most Outstanding Player en route to Georgetown's sixth-straight league crown while also earning both USA Lacrosse Magazine and USILA and Honorable Mention All-America honors. Carroll posted 37 goals with 23 assists for 60 points, tying him for 15th most points in a single season on the Hilltop. He scored game-winning goals in overtime against both top-ranked Notre Dame in the regular season as well as Providence in the BIG EAST Tournament Semifinals. Off the field, the captain was tabbed a USILA Scholar All-American and named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District.
Patrick Crogan

Crogan was the 2023 BIG EAST Freshman of the Year and earned a spot on the 2024 BIG EAST All-Tournament Team after scoring the game-winning goal in overtime against Villanova to lift the Hoyas to their sixth-straight BIG EAST crown. He has scored 30 goals to go with eight assists for 38 points in his two-year career on the Hilltop and has added 19 ground balls. Four of Crogan's 19 goals in 2024 were game-winners.
Anderson Moore
Sophomore | Goalie
Birmingham, Ala.
Moore, the reigning BIG EAST Freshman of the Year, is a unanimous selected after being named an All-BIG EAST Second Team honoree last season as well as a USILA Honorable Mention All-American in his first year between the pipes at Georgetown in 2024. Also recently named a USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Honorable Mention All-American, he posted a 13-4 overall record with a 9.52 goals-against average to go with 166 saves and a .512 save percentage a year ago. Moore was just the sixth Hoya netminder to ever earn All-America recognition and was the first freshman to do so in program history.
Georgetown opens the 2025 campaign at home against Loyola on Saturday, February 1.
