WASHINGTON – This weekend, Georgetown University's track & field program will begin its 2025-26 campaign with a doubleheader on Saturday at Boston University's Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener and the Penn Opener.

About the Georgetown Men
- The Georgetown men finished 30th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships last month.
- Last season, Abel Teffra won the men's mile at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship, and six Hoyas were named All-Americans following the championships.
- Abel Teffra was recognized as the Mid-Atlantic Region's Men's Track Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
- Assistant Coach Brandon Bonsey was named the region's Assistant Coach of the Year by the USTFCCCA.

- The Georgetown women are coming off a 14th-place finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on November 22.
