WASHINGTON - Georgetown University men's tennis players Akira Morgenstern and Adhvyte Sharma were named the BIG EAST Doubles Team of the Week on Monday, as announced by the league office.

The duo received the award after an impressive 3-0 weekend as a duo in West Point, New York. Morgenstern and Sharma picked up wins against the host Army Black Knights and followed that up with two BIG EAST wins against St. John's and Marquette. In the spring season, the duo of Morgenstern/Sharma has a record of 4-1 while not finishing two of their matches.
