WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's and women's tennis teams return to action on February 27. The women's squad will stay in the nation's capital this weekend to face Long Beach State on Thursday while the men's squad will head to La Jolla, California, from February 27 to March 2 for the Pacific Coast Doubles Tournament.

Arthur O'Sullivan,
Akira Morgenstern and
Adhvyte Sharma,
James O'Sullivan and
Burke Pablo,
Sahil Morey and
Dean Rostom,
Jacob Mann and Henry Williams will all be competing in the four-day event.
· Women's tennis will host the Long Beach State Beach on Thursday, February 27 at 11:15 a.m. The match will be played at Yates Field House on the campus of Georgetown University.
ABOUT GEORGETOWN MEN'S TENNIS | 4-6, 1-1 in BIG EAST
· Georgetown is coming off of a 1-1 weekend in Annapolis, Maryland. In its first match, the Hoyas fell to Richmond 5-2 before defeating Navy 5-2.

Jake Fellows went 2-0 this past weekend, picking up No. 1 singles wins against Davis Wiley (RIC) and Luke Garner (NAVY).
· Against Navy, Fellows,
Arthur O'Sullivan, Morgenstern and Morey all picked up singles wins.
· On February 20,
Jake Fellows was ranked the No. 111 singles player in the ITA College Tennis Rankings.
ABOUT GEORGETOWN WOMEN'S TENNIS | 5-3, 3-2 in BIG EAST
· The Hoyas are coming off of a 4-2 victory over Seton Hall at Yates Field House this past Friday.
· The duo of
Emily Novikov and
Natasha Kavarana remained perfect in No. 1 doubles in the spring season, defeating Paige Wise & Anastasia Sereda (7-6).
· Katie Garafolo-Ro and
Ashley Kennedy also picked up a doubles win, defeating Niamh Campbell & Tasmin Hart 6-4.
. Novikov, Kennedy and Garofolo-Ro all picked up wins in singles to round out the team's third conference victory of the season.

Emily Novikov was named the BIG EAST Women's Singles Player of the Week on February 17. This was the first BIG EAST honor for Novikov this season after winning BIG EAST Freshman of the Year last season.
