Andrew Williams was named the BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the league office in New York on Monday. Graduate student
Kavi Caster earned a spot on the honor roll for his efforts last week. The awards come after a 3-1 week for Georgetown that saw GU defeat Coppin State, Towson and Longwood.

- For the second-consecutive week, Williams dominated on the bump for the Hoyas as the senior picked up his second win of the season in a 10-0 seven-inning complete game against Longwood.
- The Atlanta native allowed two hits and no runs against the Lancers.
- Williams tallied a season-best eight strikeouts.
- This is the first time since 2016 that a Hoya has won Pitcher of the Week in back-to-back weeks. The last Hoya to earn the award in consecutive weeks was Simon Mathew.

- Caster was stellar in a 3-1 week for Georgetown slashing .438/412./.875 at the dish.
- The graduate student tallied seven hits, four doubles and one home run on the week.
- Caster tallied a team-high nine RBIs and leads the team in RBIs this season with 16.
