WASHINGTON — The Georgetown University men's and women's tennis teams are preparing for four matches across both programs this upcoming weekend. The women's team will stay in the nation's capital for matches against Johns Hopkins and Cornell, while the men's team will travel to Chicago for two BIG EAST matches against Creighton and DePaul.
The women enter the weekend with a 6-6 record and a 3-2 mark in conference action, while the men travel to DePaul with a 4-6 record and 1-1 in BIG EAST play.

- The women's tennis team will compete on Saturday, March 15, against Johns Hopkins at 10:45 a.m. before hosting Cornell on Sunday, March 16, at 10:45 a.m. Saturday's match will be held at Sidwell Friends High School, while Sunday's will be played at Georgetown Prep. - Georgetown women's tennis enters the weekend with a 6-6 record and a 3-2 mark in conference play.
- The Hoyas are coming off a 5-2 loss at Delaware on Wednesday. In the loss, sophomore Emily Novikov picked up a win against Maryia Hrynashka (6-3, 6-4). Hrynashka was ranked the No. 61 singles player in the country, according to the ITA. Novikov improves her singles record to 8-3 on the season.
- Paige Gilbert picked up the other singles win for the Hoyas, defeating Navya Vadlamudi (Delaware) 6-3, 6-4. Gilbert has now tallied three-consecutive singles wins for Georgetown, which is the longest active win streak on the team.
