WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team will host the Radford Highlanders for a three-game series this weekend, March 21-23 at Capital One Park in Tysons, Va. Game one is scheduled for Friday, March 21 with first pitch coming at 4 p.m.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
- Georgetown enters the weekend series with a 7-14 record after dropping a midweek contest to Maryland, 14-7. Ashton Seymore and Blake Schaaf both tallied home runs in the contest but it wasn't enough to get past the high powered Terrapin offense.
- Ashtin Gilio was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after slashing .500/.565/.900 last week for the Blue & Gray. The sophomore tallied 10 hits, two doubles, two home runs and nine RBIs in five games.
- Gilio leads the squad at the plate, slashing .356/.479/.576 on the season. The sophomore has tallied 21 hits, four doubles, three home runs and 13 RBIs in 21 games this season. Gilio is second on the team in walks with 14 to his credit.
- On the mound, Andrew Williams leads the Hoyas with a 2-0 record and a 2.95 ERA in 21.1 innings of action. The Atlanta, Georgia native has been named the BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week twice this season. Williams has struck out 21 batters this season while allowing just seven earned runs.
- Georgetown ranks third nationally in stolen bases with 69 on the season. GU only trails Wofford (78) and VMI (122).
- The Blue & Gray rank 39th nationally in base on balls (117) and is 20th nationally in sacrifice bunts (15).
ABOUT RADFORD
- Radford enters the series with a 10-9 record after dropping a midweek contest to North Carolina A&T 8-2 on Wednesday evening.
- James Ward leads the Highlanders at the dish slashing .384/.489/.685 on the season. Ward leads the squad in hits (28), doubles (10), home runs (4) and RBIs (20).
- On the mound, Joshua Milleville leads Radford with a 3.15 ERA and a 2-1 record. Millville has made six appearances accumulating 20.0 innings of action this season. The junior has allowed seven earned runs while punching out 22 this season.
