Men’s and Women’s Tennis Wraps Up Four-Match Weekend

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's and women's tennis teams posted mixed results across four matches this weekend. The men's team dropped its first match of the weekend to Delaware 4-1, before defeating Saint Joseph's (Pa), 5-2. The women's team dropped both of its BIG EAST matches at Xavier (7-0) and at Butler (4-3). With a split, the men's team moves to 5-9 while the women's team falls to 6-8.

"It was a solid weekend for the men's program this weekend with a tough battle on Friday in windy conditions. Our group bounced back well on Saturday and was able to bring the energy and toughness we talked about on Friday.
