WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's and women's tennis teams each have matches on Sunday, March 30. The men's tennis team will host the NJIT Highlanders at Georgetown Prep in Washington D.C at 10:45 a.m. while the women will travel to Richmond, Virginia to take on the spiders at 10 a.m.

- The men's team enters Sunday's match with a 5-10 overall record and a 1-3 mark in conference action.
- The men are coming off of a 4-0 loss to No. 9 Stanford on Wednesday, March 26 at the Junior Tennis Champions Center in College Park, Maryland.

- The women's team enters Sunday's match with a 6-8 overall record and a 3-4 mark in conference action.
- The women are coming off of an 0-2 week in BIG EAST matches at Xavier (7-0) and Butler (4-3).
- In the loss to Butler, Ashley Kennedy, Natasha Kavarana and Carolyn Schaefer all picked up singles wins.
- Emily Novikov leads the Hoyas in singles wins this spring with eight, followed closely by Paige Gilbert with seven.
- On March 17, Novikov was named the BIG EAST Women's Singles Player of the Week following a singles win over No. 61 Maryia Hrynashka of Delaware, 6-3, 6-4.
