WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's
Micah Peavy and
Thomas Sorber picked up postseason accolades as Peavy was named to the All-BIG EAST First Team and Sorber was named to the All-BIG EAST Third Team, as announced by the league office in New York on Sunday. Additionally, Sorber was a unanimous selection to the BIG EAST All-Freshman Team.

- Micah Peavy was the lone Hoya to start all 31 games of the regular season.
- He led a quartet of Hoyas in double figures, averaging 16.9 ppg overall and 19.2 ppg in BIG EAST play.
- The graduate student finished the regular season leading the conference in steals per game, picking 2.3 pockets per game. He adds 5.7 rpg and 3.6 apg.
- Over 31 contests, the Cibolo, Texas native shot 47.6% (209-439), including a 39.7% (50-126) from downtown.
- Over the course of the regular season, Peavy scored in double figures 24 times, including reaching 20+ points on 14 different occasions with 11 games coming during league action.
- He tallied four double-doubles on the year, all coming during the conference portion of the schedule.
- On five different occasions, he was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
- For the month of February, the graduate student averaged 24.2 ppg on 49.6% shooting (58-117), 6.5 rpg, 5.3 apg and 3.2 spg over six games.
- With 30 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and six steals against Providence (02/19), he became the first Division I player to reach all four numbers in a game since 2014.
- Peavy becomes the first Hoya to earn First Team accolades since Jessie Govan in 2018-19.
- This is the 29th nod to the All-BE First Team in program history.

- Thomas Sorber appeared in 24 games during the regular season, starting 23.
- Sorber finished the season as the second-leading scorer, averaging 14.5 ppg. He was going back and forth with Peavy as the team's leading scorer before he was sidelined with an injury in mid-February.
- Sorber grabs a squad-best 8.5 rpg, good enough for second in the BIG EAST.
- The New Jersey native adds a squad-best 2.0 bpg and 2.4 apg while shooting 53.2% (133-250).
- For the season, he tallied eight double-doubles and scored in double figures 18 times.
- The frosh earned BIG EAST Freshman of the Week honors seven times on the year before undergoing surgery last month.
- Sorber is the first Hoya since Markel Starks (2012-13) to be named to the Third Team and this is the 18th recognition in program history.
- His nod to the All-Freshman team marks the first time since 2021-22 (Aminu Mohammed) that a Hoya has been named to the squad and the 33rd honoree in program history.
