WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's tennis team came up short against the St. John's Red Storm in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Championship, 4-1 at the Cayce Fitness and Tennis Center in Cayce, South Carolina. With the loss, the Hoyas finish their season at 9-13 while St. John's improves to 24-2 and will face Creighton in the BIG EAST Championship match on April 20.
The Hoyas started out the match strong in doubles matches, with the duo of Jake Fellows and Arthur O'Sullivan picking up the win at the No. 1 court 7-6(5), before Akira Morgenstern and Adhvyte Sharma picked up the win on the No. 2 court.
