WASHINGTON – Georgetown University field hockey standout Izzy Lee was named to the initial NFHCA Watchlist, as announced by the governing body. Lee, a junior, is one of just 196 Division I student-athletes from 64 programs to earn the preseason recognition.
 
This NFHCA watchlist is intended to highlight student-athletes with the strongest potential for consideration to the current year's NFHCA All-Region and All-American teams. To be nominated for the 2025 NFHCA Watchlist, student-athletes must have been previously recognized for their outstanding field hockey abilities within the past two years (NFHCA All-Region, NFHCA All-American, All-Conference, Senior Nexus Championship selection, NCAA All-Tournament Team, and/or U.S. National or International Team roster) and the student-athlete's head coach must be an active NFHCA member.
 
A two-time selection for the Senior Nexus Championship in 2024 and 2025, Lee started all 17 games as a sophomore last year for the Hoyas and scored two goals and had an assist on the season. She started 12 of 15 games as a freshman for the Blue & Gray in 2023.
