WASHINGTON – Georgetown track & field is set to travel to the Dr. Conrad Worrill Indoor Track and Field Center in Chicago for the 2026 BIG EAST Indoor Track and Field Championships Presented by Jeep, scheduled for February 27-28.

• The championships will air on ESPN+, and live stats can be found here, provided by AthleticLIVE.
• General admission to the event starts at $15 for a single-day ticket, while all-session two-day passes can be purchased for $25. A group discount is available for groups of 10 or more individuals. About the Georgetown Men 

• Georgetown took fourth at the 2025 BIG EAST Indoor Championships, securing four event titles in the 800m, mile, 4x800m and 400m.
• Tinoda Matsatsa broke his own program record in the 800m at the Penn State National Open with a time of 1:45.12 for a second-place finish. His time is the fifth-fastest in NCAA history and ranks third nationally.
• Birhanu Harriman recorded the second-fastest 5000m finish in program history with a time of 13:29.10 to secure ninth place at the BU Valentine Invite. Harriman's mark is 25th in the country and second in the conference.

 
About the Georgetown Women

• The Hoyas finished second at last year's conference championships, also bringing four event titles (400m, 200m, 800m, 4x800m) back to the Hilltop.
• Ida Moczerniuk opened the indoor season by shattering a nearly 30-year-old school record in the 60m with a time of 7.36 at the Penn Opener for a first-place finish. She's the only athlete in the conference to achieve a sub-7.4 mark this season.
• Charlotte Tomkinson ran the second-fastest time in program history in the mile at the BU Valentine Invite, taking 15th with a time of 4:31.76. Her mark leads the conference and ranks 30th nationally.
• Barrett Justema captured a top-3 finish at the BU Valentine Invite after running 9:03.85 in the 3000m for third place. Justema's finish is fifth in program history and second in the conference.
• Last weekend, the squad of Charlotte Tomkinson, Jadah Fitzgerald, Charlotte Bell and Barrett Justema took fourth with a time of 11:01.75 in the 4000m DMR at the Alex Wilson Invitational. Their time is 12th-fastest in program history, while ranking 28th nationally and second in the conference.
