WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's Tinoda Matsatsa and Charlotte Tomkinson were named the BIG EAST Men's and Women's Track Athletes of the Week on Tuesday, as announced by the league.

• Tinoda Matsatsa won the 800m at Florida Relays with a national No. 2 time of 1:46.17. His finish currently sits at first in the conference.
• This is Matsatsa's third weekly honor this year, and his first of the outdoor season.

 
Charlotte Tomkinson | Gr. | San Carlos, Calif. | Middle Distance / Distance

• Charlotte Tomkinson placed third in the 1,500m at the Florida Relays, clocking a time of 4:12.81 for the sixth fastest mark in program history. Her finish is the 18th fastest in the country and the top time among conference competition.
• This is Tomkinson's first weekly award of the year.
