WASHINGTON – Both the Georgetown University men's and women's soccer programs were recognized by the United Soccer Coaches as they received 2025-26 College Team Academic Awards. The award recognizes teams that post an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
The squads were two of 777 soccer teams that were recognized by United Soccer Coaches including 326 on the women's side and 451 for the women. Additionally, Georgetown was just one of 175 schools that had both its men's and women's programs receive the award.
The women's team is marking its 23rd time receiving the honor after posting a 3.71 team GPA. This is the Hoyas' 13th year in a row receiving the recognition. The men's team is marking its 20th recognition by the organization with a 3.57 team GPA and the Hoyas' 12th year in a row receiving the award.
