WASHINGTON – Georgetown University Head Coach Brian Wiese has announced the addition of Adrian Molina-Diaz to the men's soccer staff. Molina-Diaz comes to the Hilltop from Oregon State University where he was an assistant coach for two seasons. He will assist in all aspects of the program.
 
"We are thrilled to have Adrian join us," said Wiese. "Adrian comes from a hugely successful program at Oregon State, where he was an architect of one of the best attacking teams in college soccer. He will bring a fresh dimension to challenge our thinking."
 
In his two seasons with the Beavers, the squad advanced to two NCAA Tournaments and he coached three All-American honorees as well as six players named All-Region and 13 All-West Coast Conference selections including two WCC Offensive Players of the Year. Four Beavers were selected in the MLS SuperDraft, and one player was named Academic All-American by the College Sports Communicators.
 
Molina-Diaz served as a graduate assistant coach in 2023 helping guide the Beavers to the best season in program history, as Oregon State made its first ever run to the College Cup. OSU went 11-6-5 on the year, defeating three top-25 opponents including No. 1 Stanford and advancing to the national semifinals. The Beavers ended the season ranked No. 4 in the United Soccer Coaches poll marking the highest final ranking in program history.
 
The team results were matched by individual honors, as the squad had three MLS SuperDraft selections which included Logan Farrington who was the third overall pick. Additionally, OSU boasted two All-Americans, three All-Region selections, the Pac-12 Player of the Year and six Beavers earning All-Pac-12 recognition.
 
Molina-Diaz played at Oregon State from 2021 to 2022 where he was named Second Team All-Pac-12 in 2021, despite having his season cut short due to injury. He scored six goals in the 12 matches he played, tying him for fourth in the Pac-12. Molina-Diaz made eight starts in the 2022 season, as he battled back to fitness.
 
The Alicante, Spain, native earned his undergraduate degree in kinesiology from Miguel Hernández University in Spain, graduating in 2021. He completed a master's degree in business and data analytics from Oregon State in 2023.
