WASHINGTON – Georgetown University field hockey standout Elena Perez Alejandro was named Preseason All-BIG EAST, as announced by the league office on Wednesday.
 
A Second Team All-BIG EAST selection as a junior in 2025, Perez Alejandro was the first Hoya to be named All-BIG EAST since 2021 and just the seventh player to garner BIG EAST postseason recognition in program history.
 
Perez Alejandro started all 17 games for the Blue & Gray last season, posting six points on the year with a goal and four assists. She scored her lone goal against Rider while adding a pair of assists against Queens (N.C.) and one assist each against Davidson and Quinnipiac.
