WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's basketball team, in conjunction with the BIG EAST Conference, announced its conference portion of the 2026-27 schedule. The Hoyas add the standard 20 league matchups to its 12-game nonconference schedule. GU will play a total of 32 regular season games during the 2026-27 season.

2026-27 BIG EAST CONFERENCE SCHEDULE

• The Hoyas will open the 2026-27 BIG EAST season at the friendly confines of Capital One Arena hosting Seton Hall on Saturday, December 19. Georgetown will then head north for a road game at the University of Connecticut on Wednesday, December 23.
• The Blue & Gray returns to the District for a two-game homestand, hosting Xavier on Wednesday, December 30 before welcoming Villanova on Sunday, January 3.
• A quick trip up to New York to face St. John's on Wednesday, January 6 precedes a Saturday matchup against Creighton at Capital One Arena to cap off three games in a seven-day stretch.
• The Hoyas will hit the road for a two-game swing, first heading to Newark for its second matchup against the Pirates on Friday, January 15, then heading to Indianapolis for a game at Hinkle Fieldhouse to face the Butler University Bulldogs on Monday, January 18.
• Georgetown closes its January home slate with a pair of games in four days, playing host to Providence College on Saturday, January 23 and UConn on Tuesday, January 26. GU closes the month with a trip to Omaha to face the Creighton Bluejays on Saturday, January 30.
• The Hoyas open the month of February in the Nation's Capital with a game against DePaul on Wednesday, February 3 before hitting the road for a pair of games with a trip to America's Dairyland on Saturday, February 6 to face Marquette followed by a game at Xavier on Tuesday, February 9, completing its second six-day span featuring three games.
• GU returns home to host Butler on Saturday, February 13 before a trip to the Windy City to face DePaul on Tuesday, February 16.
• Another Saturday at home, the Hoyas host St. John's on Saturday, February 20 before a trip up to Rhode Island to face Providence on Tuesday, February 23.
• The Blue & Gray hosts its final home game of the conference slate, welcoming Marquette to Capital One Arena on Tuesday, March 2 before closing the regular season on the Main Line at Villanova on Saturday, March 6.
• The Hoyas will then head to the BIG EAST Conference Tournament at Madison Square Garden.
