• Last time out, Georgetown's contest against James Madison was ruled a no contest due to inclement weather.

• Prior to the matchup against the Dukes, the Hoyas fell to Virginia Tech, 2-1, on August 30 at Shaw Field, moving to 1-2-1 on the season.

• Maddy Nylen scored her first career goal in the 78th minute against Virginia Tech, bringing the Hoyas within one.

• Giovana Canali has recorded two goals and an assist, while Tatum Galvin has added a goal and an assist.
